Our portfolio includes dreamt (sleep), LUCHADOR (fun) and Quell (stress), which are available in more than 250 stores throughout California, including some of the state's highest volume retailers (Eaze, Stiiizy, Harborside). Our sleep brand dreamt was named Best New Product at Weedcon, and was described by Vice as "one of the year's most helpful innovations", while LUCHADOR has become sensation in California through its unique branding and high ROI experiential marketing and sales strategies. Bootstapped and one of only 5% of companies in the state that is profitable. 

As Chief Marketing Officer my role includes:
 - Identifying untapped market opportunities for brands and products 
 - Creative direction, design, ideation and brand management across dreamt, LUCHADOR and Quell
 - Overseeing multi-platform marketing strategies (social, IRL, publicity, media direction etc.)
 - Copywriting, content strategy & thought-leadership
 - Media prep, brand messaging, and content partnerships
 - Staffing and managing third-party agencies and creative freelancers
 - Experiential marketing and event strategy + execution

Black Circle Media is an LA-based strategic marketing agency for music festivals and tech start-ups.

In the global festival scene, we have developed content and marketing strategies and overseen on-site teams for Tomorrowland Belgium, EDC Las Vegas, Electric Zoo, and Oasis Festival, where we lead all media production and brand messaging. Tech clients included AtVenu, Pollen, and Flowhub.

BCM has also led international non-profit initiatives for Red Bull & Jaegermeister (Creative Footprint) staged events for Los Angeles Metro, the Ace Hotel Manhattan and Sen Scott Weiner (D-SF), and launched and led the Los Angeles Nightlife Alliance.

The US Editor is responsible for devising and implementing content operations, managing team and content calendars, reviewing analytics, social media, and producing live stream content (FB Live + YouTube). Required to be an outgoing and visible presence in the local scene and a brand ambassador for Mixmag. Reporting directly to global editorial director.

+ Increased Facebook followers from 350k to over 600k
+ Authored 2500-word cover story on producer RL Grime after just two months in role
+ Developed high quality live stream platform that has more than 200 million views on YouTube
+ Met KPIs to secure global investment and partnership with vodka brand Smirnoff
+ Budgeted, sourced venues, managed operations, and marketed events in Los Angeles, pop-up parties Miami and New York, and festival stage takeovers with CRSSD, Mamby on the Beach, Miami Music Conference and Movement Detroit

LA CANVAS

LA Canvas was a free, Los Angeles-based arts, culture and nightlife print publication with a bi-monthly circulation of around 20,000 and a rich community events calendar.

As features editor, I drafted ideas, commissioned and edited stories from freelancers and contractors, and explored the bars, hotels, restaurants and events of Los Angeles in search of a tale or two. Reporting directly to editor-in-chief.

+ Planned and project managed bi-monthly print launch events—liaised and prepared contracts and agreements with venues, vendors, performers/talent, managed purchase orders and local marketing
+ Established brand partnership and staged pop-up activations with Jarritos, Red Bull, Vans and WESC
+ Provided a cultural north star for the emerging DTLA and Eastside community as it emerged as the hippest part of LA
