Before commencing my Training Contract in September 2021, I assisted the Senior Partner of Penman Sedgwick LLP, Jacqueline Alderton, as a Paralegal in the Litigation and Employment Departments. 

These departments deal with litigation in all ares of dispute resolution, from court and tribunal hearings to mediation. Jacqueline has particular expertise in contentious probate matters including inheritance act claims, will disputes, removal of executors and/or trustees and breach of trust cases.

Jacqueline advises businesses and individual clients on a variety of employment law matters, both contentious and non-contentious.

Civil Litigation and Employment Paralegal

I have a large amount of hands on experience dealing with complex case work here at PS LLP. The cases I have assisted with range from the Importation of Firearms and Drugs; Terrorism; Animal Welfare Act Offences; Possession with Intent to Supply Class A/B Drugs; GBH; Rail Fare Evasion; Road Traffic Act Offences and many more.

The Criminal Department at PS LLP specialises in Pre-Charge Representation and Crisis Management. I have been fortunate enough to gain a significant amount of experience dealing with clients under investigation in relation to all aspects of crime throughout the United Kingdom. The department is not limited to Pre-Charge Representation work by any means, a significant amount of work we do involves anything from the Pre-Charge Stage all the way to a Full Trial and Appeals.
