After completing his studies in Information Technology in Australia, Rotimi moved to the Netherlands to further develop his expertise in the role of Software Test Engineer. He gained experience through projects and activities during his studies, collaborating with various international students at Griffith University, and continues this in his role at CIMSOLUTIONS. Rotimi has worked as a tester in various Agile environments. In the TA Teststraat project, he planned, designed, executed test cases, and automated them, which were then used in Continuous Integration/Deployment (CI/CD) DevOps. Rotimi also had several opportunities to detect defects in the code and review code in a test environment. He participated in Retrospectives used as a checklist for improvements for the company. At MaRi Invest, Rotimi was responsible for writing non-functional tests for the business-to-business platform to ensure that acceptance criteria were met and that the platform could be deployed for use. During his time at Griffith University (Australia), Rotimi was a test coordinator responsible for planning and implementing test cases based on the UI/UX design of the application. During his traineeship at Patient Zero (Australian company), Rotimi was responsible for performing static and dynamic tests on websites and written code. He ensured that items were communicated with developers about what could be improved. Rotimi is a highly motivated individual. He is always looking to improve his knowledge and take on new challenges. Furthermore, Rotimi has knowledge in automating test cases, static testing, dynamic testing, Java 11, Agile, Azure DevOps, GitHub, HTML, CSS, Angular, unit testing, static testing, dynamic testing, and Cypress.
