You know what they say — once a startup guy, always a startup guy!

Building and scaling ideas is something I love to no.

No wonder that I decided to leverage my skills and experience to do so.

One of the things I've learnt from my previous start-up experience is this:

You don't need all the answers. 
You need to know what to avoid.
You need to know how to solve problems. 

I've worked mainly in the tech and online course spaces. 

I enjoyed all kinds of activities that were thrown at me, such as:

It's June 2021. 

2 months ago I told my business partner I'll leave if nothing changes..

We were making ok money and got clients through partners.

But depending on others didn't sit well with me.

We needed to learn how to find clients ourselves.

We just didn't know how…

At the time I was using a SaaS tool.

The most important part of this?

Your process!

And NO, I'm not talking content or comments.

Let me explain:

You need a process to predictably fill up your pipeline.

And not just with anyone. 

But with your ideal clients.

This is the step-by-step plan you need to dominate April (...now it's yours):

1️⃣ Accept the shift  — You need to realign your focus to starting conversations in the DMs, instead of posting and commenting. SHOCKER, I know. But DMs is where the money is made.

2️⃣ Put in the work  — Aim for 20 new conversations with potential clients per day. If you're unsure how to find them, let me know and I'll tell you. This is the easy part.

3️⃣ Track your output  — Keep yourself accountable. Use pen and paper to mark for every day how many conversations you started. Trust me, you want to do this.

4️⃣ Starting the conversations  — This makes or breaks your success. And most people F-up at the first hello. Focus first on opening the other person up to the conversation. Nothing else. No business talk yet.

5️⃣ Getting strategic — You're not talking to make a new best friend. But you do want to be friendly (positive and supportive). Identify if your prospect has a problem you can solve and is open to help.

6️⃣ Converting  — Once you've validated your prospect, you pivot to a call. Make it 15 minutes and DO NOT SELL. Simply further qualify them: urgency, budget, obstacles on the way.

7️⃣ Next step  — Before you say goodbye, you book the next call. Within 7 days. Strike when the iron is hot. Engage with their content 1-2 days before that next call and the day of text them you're looking forward to the call.

8️⃣ The 2nd call  — They like you. Now it's showtime. Dive deep into their goals, current situation, obstacles, pains and desires. Map out a step-by-step plan for them and ensure 1) it aligns with their budget, 2) they approve it. Book the 3rd call.

9️⃣ Send them a doc clearly outlining your process, what you will do for them, how you’ll do it & the results they can expect. Address ANY objections they might have as selling points and add social proof.

🔟 3rd call  — Walk through the details, answer any last questions and ideally get them to pay. End with asking if they feel this is what they need to succeed and ask if they want to start on Monday or Tuesday.

That's it!

At least, if you use it like 97% of people.

Image for a second that you're a 👩‍🍳 chef.

And your main ingredient is fresh garlic.

You can prep the cloves in two ways:

1. Peel >> chop with knife >> use
2. Peel >> crush with crusher >> use

If you needed 3 cloves a knife would be ok.

But for 3000 a crusher is your friend.

Because its much more efficient:
↳ It allows the chef to cook more dishes.
↳  The restaurant to serve move meals.
↳  And eventually earn more money.

The same logical applies to outreach.

Doing everything manual is ok.

But automation is your friend.

Because:

1. Automation works when you don't.
2. Connects with prospects consistently.
3. Removes you overthinking your message.

It makes your lead gen process efficient.

And that means more meals being served 😜

My client S struggled  a bit with outreach.

Consistency was an issue and she was overthinking her messages.
