Enabling the Future of E-commerce in Rwanda  - Contractor

-Represented Microsoft 365 and communicated effectively with Microsoft Cloud customers in the APGC region, ensuring customer satisfaction.
-Managed relationships with multiple customers and partners, collaborating with Microsoft personnel to deliver quality service.
-Implemented standard processes and utilized existing diagnosis methods, solutions, and workarounds to resolve technical issues and achieve problem resolution.
-Documented incidents, reported customer suggestions and technical issues to Microsoft, and owned the customer support experience with Microsoft.
-Troubleshot and solved technical issues for customers, utilizing collaboration, troubleshooting best practices, and transparency within and across teams.
-Identified cases that required escalation, both technically and strategically, to ensure prompt resolution.
-Provided assistance with Microsoft cloud migrations, offering understanding of the modern SharePoint framework, governance, and information architecture.
-Managed platform migrations to SharePoint, as well as major initiatives including enterprise search, data content classification, App Catalog management, Yammer, Office365 Groups, and extending the SharePoint User Profile.
-Assisted with engineering implementation of new solutions approved for integration into the O365 environment, specifically for SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive for Business.
-Resolved technical problems that required applied knowledge of the related technical subject matter, ensuring customer satisfaction through timely resolution of a variety of customer inquiries.

- Attended training sessions,
- Tested questionnaires developed by Laterite Ltd. in the field.
- Traveled to different locations to conduct field preparation, contacting local authorities and identifying potential research participants,
- Documented issues that arise during fieldwork and communicated them to the field coordinator and supervisor,
- Transmitted data collected on a daily basis,
- Conducted more than 500 household interviews using evaluation tools and tablets provided on a variety of projects
- Visited the identified sample villages and selected appropriate key informant and household 
- Successfully managed funds for each trip by coordinating use of money, tracking receipts and submitting financial reports
- Entered data from hard copies of more than 1000 interviews into Microsoft Excel template
- Translated Kinyarwanda interviews to English for use in organizational communication and evaluation,
- Assisted in any other tasks related to the delivery of the project at hand.


I conducted a set of projects including but not limited to the following: 
a) Understanding the Dynamics of Unplanned Settlements in Kigali: The study aimed to explore four themes,  including (i) migration status and mobility, (ii) housing conditions, (iii) employment and (vi) infrastructure services among the residents of Kigali.
b) Family planning project sponsored by PROMUNDO, a global leader in promoting gender justice and preventing violence by engaging men and boys in partnership with women and girls (*Learn more about PROMUNDO and how it helps both men and women to promote gender equality and create a world free from violence by engaging men and boys in partnership with women and girls). 
c) LARS3 (Learning Assessment for Rwandan Schools) on behalf of Rwanda Education Board, among others. The instruments I normally use are surveys, face to face interviews and other innovative ways of getting the most accurate information. 
d) FSI.

Consultant at Laterite

RFTC (Rwanda Federation of Transport and Cooperative).  

My responsibilities were the following: 

*Collated, checked and analysed spreadsheet data;
*Examined company accounts and financial control systems;
*Gauged levels of financial risk within organisation;
*Checked that financial reports and records were accurate and reliable;
*Ensured that assets are safeguarded;
*Identified if and where processes were not working as they should and advising on changes to be made;
*Prepared reports, commentaries and financial statements;
*Liaised with managerial staff and presenting findings and recommendations;
*Ensured procedures, policies, legislation and regulations were correctly followed and complied with.

-Collected and submitted data on a daily basis,
-Conducted interviews with the urban Burundian refugee, 
-Informed the staff with any issues that arise on field,
-Attended training sessions before starting collecting data, 
-Performed other duties related to the project, as assigned by the supervisor.
