- Helped influence and deliver the in-browser solution for VU.CITY, resulting in a quicker release of value to our customers whilst giving them access from home. 
- Proactively extended Scrum Master services throughout the company to drive the key company value of Conscious Improvement. This resulted in many improvement and team-building workshops being held around the company. 
- Encouraged experimentation, outcome-focused thinking and challenging assumptions within teams to drive improvements.
- Created workshops to support specific outcomes for various teams. 
- Created and facilitated Team Manifesto sessions in Miro to help build a common understanding between team members and help with onboarding new members to the team. 
- Mentored a recent graduate in his first Scrum Master role.

Scrum Master

- Worked with two product teams, guiding them to adapt the process to best fit their needs. Helped them on their journey to becoming high performing teams whilst encouraging best practices such as pair programming. 
-Worked with a team of like-minded Scrum Master in the introduction of LeanUX, a customer-centric, experimental approach to product discovery to find out and build what our customers actually want. 
- Helped with the orchestration of the company-wide feature freeze to tackle technical debt and achieve daily deployment. This moved the company from fortnightly releases to an automated deployment twice a day.
- Delivered a meetup talk about our journey to "Continuous Disruption" at giffgaff.
- Formed a Code Club to help children under Hillingdon Council care learn to code.

I'm currently in my third and final rotation on the graduate programme working as a Junior Scrum Master. I'm working in an Agile environment and will build up facilitate all of the customary Scrum events and consequently update the teams progress on the virtual Kanban board in Jira. I also hope to pick up some technical skills through gaining exposure to the development team as well as self-learning from various online resources.

Graduate Programme Second Rotation – PBB Implementation
I worked closely with project managers to implement a key solution into PBB telephony to reduce fraud. The solution was implemented within 5 months using a newly developed Agile style of delivery.
Key Achievements: 
-I gained approval from all non-PBB franchises, as we were unable to exclusively apply our solution to PBB. This involved a variety of tasks ranging from identifying the franchises and data owners to obtaining a review confirming our solution was compliant with ROI data protection laws. This was a crucial piece of engagement work as without the approvals, we would not have been able to go-live.   
-I co-produced the Project Initiation Document with a business stakeholder and collated sign-off from the senior project stakeholders. This involved gathering key information from various individuals working on the project and making sure this was agreed by all parties.

Graduate Programme First Rotation – Architecture 
Key Achievements: 
-I co-produced and presented to key stakeholders the Payments Architecture Book. This will allow colleagues across the bank to access and understand how different departments have certain dependencies on Payments. This also allows for more transparency within the Payments Transformation Programme. 
-I created a virtual Kanban board for the team to use to track the progress of their work. The benefit of this is that the team is now able to visually prioritise their workload, see where they have capacity and track their progress.

I spent 10 weeks with RBS on the Technology and Transformation Internship Programme. After the induction week where we received a day of Excel training and two days of industry specific training, I was placed in Application Management for the remaining 9 weeks. 

Application Management support a variety of key business and customer facing applications. My role involved a lot of observing colleagues, due to the high technical aspect of the work and training required. Despite this I still completed any work that was asked of me efficiently and to a high standard, such as updating support documents for applications.

Working at Splendid has enhanced my team working skills through working long shifts with staff I had often never met from Splendid or other companies. Working in hospitality has also improved my people skills and my ability to work under pressure.
