I lead all HR, Recruitment, and Talent Management and part of a small exec team (reporting to CEO)

We grew super fast (over 2 years) - scaling from 30 to 250+ headcount (mostly focused on software engineers, product designers, scrum masters and test engineers)

Rangle is a modern JS Consulting company that's helping some of the top companies in the world with digital transformation projects. (ex. Building the Uniqlo app for multiple markets, working with Nike on an AI app, and with Google on Angular)

Flipp

I lead all HR, Recruitment and Talent Management for Flipp. Part of the senior management team (reporting to CTO). Also helped with building culture and HR processes. 

Flipp has been a top 100 app. 50 million plus users, 40 million monthly sessions. 

Award: Top 50 Best Place to Work in Canada (that I help us win for the first time)

We grew very quickly with the success of our app!

Owned all HR/Talent as we grew from 30 to 200+ headcount over 3 years.  

Flipp transforms retailers' print flyers into a dynamic and personalized digital experience.  Flipp, recreates the shopping experience on mobile by helping people save time and money.

Director of Talent Management

North Plains Systems

- Lead all HR & Talent activities for North Plains - Canada & USA (reporting to CFO)
- Responsible for all end to end recruiting, from Sr. to Jr. Roles within all departments
- Manage employee relations and in charge of improving satisfaction and morale :)
- Health & Safety, recently built a committee to manage H&S and leading the process
- Renegotiating and improving employee benefits for North Plains, including recommending plan design changes and also helped launch the US Benefits program
- Recently updated the employee handbook for 2011 and worked on improving many policies in place
- Working with Sr. Management on strategic decisions on how we are going to grow the company
- Launching an entirely new performance management and internal communications system to improve recognition and collaboration using industry best practices
- Company was acquired in 2012

HR Manager (incl. Talent)

Xcino Technologies Pvt. Ltd.

- XCINO is an award winning IT Software and Infrastructure start-up company
- My role there was multi-faceted and not limited to HR. I also consult on Marketing, Sales, Strategy and Operations for the business.
- Recruitment and Selection for the Canada Office (incl. Senior positions)
- Manage most strategic partner and vendor relationships
- Help create an integrated Marketing campaigns including website design, email blast templates, marketing copy, print materials and marketing strategy.
- In addition to strategy, I also helped execute many of the proposed plans

Senior Consultant - HR, IT & Marketing

CMIC

- CMiC was awarded one of the top 50 best managed companies in Canada – they sell an ERP software that helps companies manage their entire business
- Promoted twice in 10 months and had one staff member reporting to me
- In a few short months I had learned the organizations various IT positions and how the company runs - managed the all hiring for both US and Canada
- I was the only HR staff on site – I managed all HR services for a site of 120+ staff
- Revamped all the current HR processes and documentation – including creating new forms and new standards/guidelines we follow
- Recruitment and Selection for the whole company (incl. Senior positions) – I had hired over 25 staff over the last 10 months – their biggest hire spree ever
- Consulted with management on all hires and re-organizations within company
- Responsible for all Human Resource administration (New hires, benefits, etc)
- Redesigned and renegotiated group benefits plan to achieve a 20% cost savings
- Designed, prepared and maintained reports for Senior Management &amp; Directors
- Organization and maintenance of internal Websites &amp; Organizational Charts
- Creation and documentation of standard human resource policies
- Directly assisted with terminations and paperwork within the organization
- Worked on Compensation projects – annual raises, bonuses and salary reports
- Worked with Payroll to resolve any issues relating to pay

Human Resources Manager

Patheon

- Working for the Head Office location (800+ staff)
- Recruitment &amp; Selection for the IT, Health &amp; Safety and Engineering departments
- Responsible for admin of the Human Resource Information System (HRIS)
- Design, prepare and maintain monthly reports for Senior Management &amp; Directors
- Organization and maintenance of internal Websites &amp; Organizational Charts
- Creation and documentation of standard human resource processes (HRP’s)
- Directly assisted with lay offs and terminations within the organization
- Designed a database to capture employee testing information
- Worked on Compensation projects – annual raises and salary reports
- Working with Corporate to standardize reporting requirements across all units
- In house training presentations and worked on various projects

HR Associate

- Worked for Resolve that was later acquired by D+H
- Promoted from one office of 250+ staff to taking care of 3 offices (500+ staffs)
- Recruitment and Selection for all entry level positions
- Handling the recruitment process from start to finish, including Workopolis
- Fully experienced working with several staffing/recruiting agencies
- Managing payroll and all new hire packages, including building security access
- Use of ADP software on daily basis for payroll, vacation and labour costs tracking
- General HR Administration including Benefits, Pension and Leave of Absences
- Managed Performance Appraisals process &amp; Compensation for all hourly staff
- Managed our site Social Committee &amp; started the Employee Relations Committee
- Day-to-day managing of any HR issues at all three office locations
