• Managed business development and operations across multiple diversified, but horizontally integrated business lines. These business lines included a construction company (Alliance Construction and Property Management LLC), a greenhouse production business (SkyHope Acres LLC), and a food processing company (The Pickle Plant).
• Developed relationships with local Economic Development organizations and managed participation in small business programs that were identified and made available through these relationships. • Designed and implemented workflows based on Lean and Agile methodologies, while also using IT solutions to automate processes and improve organization-wide communication. 
• Managed employees/contractors across all business lines ranging in total numbers from 4 to 17.
• Coordinated with a team of professionals to ensure accounting and other core business functions were performed effectively across a network of partnerships and subsidiary business structures. 
• Developed strategic partnerships with key organizations such as local universities, business development groups, and professional networks.
• Managed the closing of operations after years of effort to get FCA Management INC off the ground, due to a decision to pursue gaining more experience in an enterprise setting before attempting entrepreneurial efforts again.

Indiana Army National Guard

• Received Army Achievement Medal for simultaneously filling the role of Career Counselor where inherited a retention program that had been neglected for years and the role of Platoon Sergeant where I was responsible for an oversized element consisting of multiple merged platoons during an extended annual training event. All goals were exceeded for both roles which were originally intended to be covered by multiple, more senior NCOs. 
• Served as Assistant Team Leader and Acting Team Leader for the Army Indiana Northwest Military Funeral Honors Team where I directly coordinated, managed, and provided military honors for over 100 funerals in less than an 8-month period with the support of a 15-member part-time team under my management. Based on this performance, I was part of the first group of soldiers to be presented with a new Indiana Funeral Honors Ribbon created in 2013.
• Selected due to my professional performance and skillsets to represent my unit as an evaluator for the largest joint training exercise held by the Army each year for finance soldiers called Diamond Saber. During this exercise, I was responsible for controlling the training environment using planned scenarios and a team of assigned role players. I was responsible for managing the training events for five platoons from the 82nd Airborne, 101st Airborne, and multiple National Guard elements. 
• Attended four years of world-renowned leadership and managerial training through the Purdue ROTC program. However, I could not commission due to injuries sustained during a motor vehicle accident that prevented me from being able to pass a required physical examination within the time required.

• Assisted in data analysis on several audits of employee benefit plans.
