Ryan is a qualified Engineer, Business & Risk professional, driven by his own determination to succeed. He is a proactive individual, who possess a foresight in identifying potential opportunities for improvement. Ryan has many years of experience in the Nuclear industry and has built up a skillset which includes: Project Management, including accurate reporting; Quality Assurance; an understanding of commercial aspects of the business including Risk and Investment; contractual management and Management of Change within the industry. He has developed into a Nuclear Professional, endorsing a safety behavior culture. Ryan is also an excellent and efficient communicator and has a wide network, both internal and external to the industry, which he consults when required. Ryan continues to expand his network whilst building on existing relationships. Ryan is a professionally qualified Engineer with a Degree in Civil Engineering from University West of Scotland; and has obtained a post-graduate Risk Management qualification (endorsed by IRM). Specialties: Ryan is pedantic in his role as document reviewer. He understands the mentality of Project Management and the effects that words -written or spoken- have on others. He is good with people and never dismisses an idea without calculated thoughts. He is very highly motivated and driven by his own desire for success. Ryan is a Member of the Nuclear Institute (MNucl) and the Chartered Managers Institute and has interests externally sitting on the board at Mountain Training Scotland as a Non - Exec Director (chair) and a committee member of the Audit and Risk committee and university Court of University West Of Scotland. He has recently become a STEM Ambassador in order to inspire the next generation.
