Just in case you want to get to know me first. Heres a little about me: 
Being clueless at 24, changed my life forever. 
Here is what happened next: 

2020-2021: Founded The Side Project. A portal for young Dj’s & producers. It failed and I wanted to know why. 

2021-2022: Followed a Master in Content & Media Strategy to understand why company 1 failed. 

2022-2023: Founded The Quarter Life Crisis podcast to figure out what the hell I wanted to do with my life. Spoke to some of the biggest creators and entrepreneurs out there. Posted every day for over 1 and half years. Learned a shit ton from creating content. 

2023-present: Launched "The Quarter", a content agency specializing in creating engaging YouTube content.   

Today, I work together with elite creators and entrepreneurs to produce stories that are worth watching through video editing, content strategy and content conception.

I produce insane content. Don’t believe me? See for yourself!

I find that when I live a boring life I tend to perform better all-round... 
Who would've thought? 😂 

- Wake up early. 
- Get morning sunlight and walk the dog. 
- Eat healthy. 
- Post daily. 
- Daily exercise. 
- Studying "the algo's" 
- Creating content 
- Sleeping early. 

Honestly, a younger version of myself would've turned over in his grave shouting at how "boring" I have become. 

But now that i'm on a mission to take my agency from 6 to 7 figures...
It's what will be required to lock in. 

Anybody else have this realization?

Since this year I officially own a 6-figure agency 
BUT last week I still did a FREE trailer to showcase my skills. 

In fact, my 5 highest paying clients all started with me doing a free trailer for them.

So, since I see a lot of people, complain about "not needing" to do free work, or being above that, just know... 

While you may find yourself too good, someone else is willing to "bite that bullet" and make a lot more money in the process... 

And with that being said i'll get back on my way to closing another client (hopefully)...

My business is a tool that allows me to live my life the way I want. 

It allows me to:
- Take my dog with to the office.
- Work from home whenever I want. 
- Have a tonne of time with my daughter which most dads can (unfortunately) only ever dream of. 
- Hit the gym Tuesday morning and work into the evening.
- Do workation whenever I want. 

I’m sharing this because I think too many people want to start a business for the title & the money

But never stop to ask themselves what they actually want their life to look like. 

I decided all of the above before I’d ever sent a first invoice. 

It took me 3 years to get here but finally it’s my reality. 

It worked well for me maybe it will for you too.

POV: you're editing a trailer about the problem with screens whilst looking at a big screen with the occasional sneak peak at the little screen for inspo... it's screenception 📱 

This week on "the problem with" with James Smith, the man who has actively helped me reduce my screen time from 4,5 hours to 1,5 through his content, Tj Power!

My second go at editing a trailer for him, so naturally I had to out perform my last edit...

In this edit I spent a lot of time trying to understand how I could tastefully but visually show what is happening in the heads of kids these days. 

I can safely say i'm happy I grew up in a different time. 

Fun fact: this is the edit that landed me the work with James.

Remember folks, any strategy, whether that is mine or someone from McKinsey…

Is always just one big gamble. 

And they’ll only say it’s a “strategic move” once it works. 

The only thing that really works is out testing and iterating your competition over an extended period of time.

This reel got 10K views across platforms after just 2 weeks of me posting consistently again. 

We have already started seeing the pattern in the content that does well versus what doesn't: 
- Eye catching hook.
- Back up the hook by saying it's "easy to do". People love it when things come easy, its why "quick hack" workouts are some of the best performing reels on the internet. 
- Right down to business explaining how to do it (pure value).  

Lets see how it does here!

My sales posts get the least engagement and the highest conversions. 
My personal posts get the highest engagement and the least conversions. 

And I know for a fact this is the same industry wide. 

Depending on what stage of your content creation journey you are in, in my view, should decide which of these two types of posts you prioritise. 

The best is to have a healthy balance of both...
