I founded the Redgate Austin office in 2017, and have seen it grow from a $0 to $10M+ business unit and more than 50 people since its inception. I’ve had the opportunity to line manage both direct sellers and managers, plus write the global strategy for Named Accounts when we introduced the program in 2020. 

Redgate’s bread and butter is helping our customers implement DevOps best practices for their databases, easily monitor database performance, and improve team productivity. 

We do all this by investing heavily in making our software intuitive to use even though we're solving complex customer problems – something we call ingeniously simple (which is our tagline and one of our core values).

As an Enterprise Account Executive, my role involves helping IT departments shift towards a proactive and anticipatory mode of hybrid IT infrastructure management. This allows them to focus on addressing potential issues before they become problems for end users, resulting in SLA compliance and being nimble enough to quickly adapt to new business initiatives.

Embarcadero provides database design/management and application development tools that focus on increasing productivity and efficiency from the individual developer all the way to the numbers-focused executive. In my roles as a Corporate Sales Representative, a Senior Sales Representative, and ultimately a Team Lead, I assisted organizations in understanding their data in order to leverage it as a corporate asset. 

Whether it was pinpointing the right mix of data architecture tools to meet the burgeoning design and data quality demands of a national bank, or finding the right licensing solution for a rapidly-growing insurance company, my overall goal was to help my partners become more productive faster. 

 I also spearheaded the launch of product user groups in order to promote end user education and understanding of the Embarcadero toolset, and also to provide a launchpad for data management best practices.

BK&A Advertising

BK&A specializes in providing marketing communications programs with a particular focus on the aviation and finance industries.

At BK&A, I partnered with clients from the beginning all the way through the end of the process.
Together, we performed market research to analyze gaps in their current state and drew up plans for where they wanted to be. From there, it was about implementing the right mix of traditional and online programs to garner the highest ROI.

A key success was designing and generating a social media presence and online strategy for Gulf Coast Avionics and Pacific Avionics which resulted in the development of a new, versatile piece of their overall sales strategy.

Alepo Technologies provides billing, revenue management and access control solutions primarily for the telecommunications industry. 

As an Account Executive, my role was about wearing many hats: designing license management solutions, ensuring a technology fit and, most importantly, promoting a worry-free end user experience for our partners worldwide.

I partnered with major international organizations like Vodafone and Orange to provide large-scale solutions for seamless subscriber access and self management of end user accounts. I also worked with government-owned telecommunications operators to provide flexible licensing solutions to manage exponential subscriber growth. 

Last but not least, I had the opportunity to coordinate company attendance at a variety of international and domestic trade shows to better educate our partners on best practices in subscriber management.

Building and scaling teams sustainably is what I do. I've got a passion for writing sales strategy, fine tuning GTM approaches and filling gaps in sales process. As a sales leader, I’m focused on challenging, coaching, developing and pushing my people to heights they never thought they could attain.

On the personal side, I’m a book nerd (I probably read 2-3 per month), lover of classic rock and blues legends (pre-1970 Fleetwood Mac, anyone?), avid runner, husband and father to two wonderful little boys.
