Imagine, if you will, that you are given a pile of bricks to build a home. You spend your life building that home; along the way, you gain bricks, but you also give some bricks away to help others build their homes. Being mindful not to deplete your own supply of bricks, you must continue to add to your pile. If bricks represent customer service roles, then I have given away a lot of bricks. But I have also added to my pile by gaining new skills on the job, staying up-to-date on policies, and dedicating myself to social awareness and fairness in the workplace. And now we come to the point where it's time to leave one house and start on a whole new house.
