- After 6+ years at Accenture, secured a role with a startup seeking to fully immerse in business development strategy, processes and operations. Landed a role as the Enterprise Lead and the sixth employee for a startup building a platform to solve challenges associated with planning for and budgeting across employee experience (EX). 
- Attained or exceeded quotas each quarter since joining the team despite a challenging macroeconomic climate for new products and services predicated on employee experience (EX) multi-day retreats and an unproven Enterprise offering. 
- Quickly and effectively fine-tuned numerous aspects of process-less top-of-funnel sales efforts after years serving in a predictable environment with robust processes to ultimately become a more comprehensive and creative sales leader.
- Secured multiple enterprise contracts with enterprise organizations (Dropbox, Spotify, Reddit etc.), even displacing existing partnerships within Employee Experience management. Closed the first $1M deal in company history.
- Worked on the first ever RFP submission for a global Enterprise customer seeking a cultural partner across 500 experience types, robust integrations within HRIS systems and previously unbuilt product features. Marco was awarded the work. 
- Proactively took on numerous initiatives outside of a pure sales function such as: the creation and curation of enablement and educational customer resources, short form educational videos, and internal mission-driven days focused on giving. 
- Sharpened numerous edges made dull through a big consulting environment, specifically regaining a hunter mentality and ensuring top of funnel excellence, value proposition articulation, product intimacy and a healthy “challenger mindset”.
- Helped grow average deal size from $5-10k in 2021 to $250k+ as of Q4 2023 by engaging strategic stakeholders versus more transactional personas, and positioning Marco as a partner in EX versus another retreat planner.
