New Balance Runaway Pub, LDN | NB Pizza Company, NYC
New Balance, the global athletic footwear and apparel brand opened the doors to its first ever Pub ‘The Runaway’ in London, and it’s first ever Pizzeria in NYC, New York, where the currency used is miles run and logged on the Strava app.

• Account management: key account manager for New Balance & other Key Suppliers. Liaised on a daily basis with the client on project status and built strong and lasting relationships with client.
• Design & Creative: worked on thorough brand and creative prior to starting the project. Provided creative input to client’s projects including: branding activation, Interior design, and engaging customer experiences.
• Event management: development of high profile event projects, Designed creative event proposal after client briefing and analysis. Consolidated and validated the budget with the client (up to £300k).
• Production management: liaised and coordinated with suppliers and partners. Briefed, coordinated and ran operations with onsite crews during Install, live event & de-rig both in the UK & USA.

Visual Architects (Event Decor and Installations)

The role involves assisting the Managing Director and Visual Architects Team in developing new and existing ideas for unique décor installations for night clubs, festivals, weddings and corporate events. Also developing bespoke, décor proposals for clients with the aim of generating new and repeat business.

Culture Fusion

Culture Fusion is a £6.9m capital project - refurbishment of an historic mill with a modern extension to create a 3,000 square metre city centre youth building with a wide range of facilities including rooftop cafe, games room, peace pod and rooftop venue.
Young people have been very involved in the development of this centre and steering group of young people (known as Culture Fusion Advisors) where set up in August 2008.
I was specifically selected by Culture Fusion Advisors in July 2012 to lead on the interior design for the open access areas of Culture Fusion. This decision was made after the advisors visited Bradford College, considering work that students were showcasing.
I have been significantly involved in the project since that time and have also become a valued and commented member of the Culture Fusion Advisors, contributing to a wide range of issues relating to the building, not just in relation to the interior design. Over the project I have worked closely with the youth of Bradford, Architects, Designers and consultants regarding all areas of the build. Working alongside the MYPlace Partnership, Bowman Riley Architects and BAM Construction.
