Throughout my career, have tended to run toward fires rather than away, which has provided me with intense and rewarding learning opportunities that have required rapid learning, tenacity, and creativity. My success has been driven by the skills forged by these experiences, alongside the great people that I have had the fortune of learning from. I have committed my career to empowering business owners and their advisors through innovation. As Co-Founder of Huumans and Managing Partner of Gremlin Ventures, I wear multiple hats to drive rapid scale. Starting with the successful close of Huumans' $800k Seed fundraise and launch of the current $2.5M Quota raise, the launch of Huumans Financial Services, the launch and growth of our proprietary Quota AI technology, creation of our advisory board, corporate development, GTM, SAAS business development, branding, product design, and strategic partnerships, I have built broad and deep knowledge needed to run a business. Previously, I drove enterprise growth of Harbourfront Wealth Management through acquisition and integration of $100M+ advisor teams and firms, in addition to advisor book purchase financing. Prior to this, I led Western Canada growth with national actuarial consulting firm GBL where I oversaw B2B and B2C sales strategy and helped grow GBL's brand and sales over 200% YOY. I simplified complex information for CEOs, executives, board directors, business owners, incorporated professionals, international clients, and professional athletes, and frequently presented to audiences of up to 700+. What brought me from Toronto to Calgary? After launching the national Compliance practice for Canada's largest recruitment firm, I was chosen by Randstad Canada's CEO to relocate to Calgary to launch the Fortune 500 company's first Finance & Accounting group in Western Canada. A member of Randstad's F&A management team, I was instrumental in building the group along with Toronto's Banking & Finance group that I helped create, being awarded Randstad Elite for #1 revenue in Canada. A graduate of Ivey Business School and the University of Toronto, I have served on the U of T Governing Council's College of Electors, was the President of a national charity, and have served on several boards. I received the University of Toronto Arbor Award in 2018, and serve on the Calgary Petroleum Club's Board of Governors, Finance and House Committees. My greatest achievement however, is the journey of raising two incredible young kids of whom I strive to be a great role model for.
