When I was 11 years old, I started a nonprofit organization called Charitable Crusaders. The idea was to get my friends and me involved in service and to give back to our community. We operated the nation's first youth-led disaster relief group, Hearts as Big as Texas, and provided over 50,000 meals to people without homes through our Slay Hunger program. Our work brought recognition from former President Barack Obama and even Olympic medalist Michael Phelps, yet nothing compared to the joy of helping our community. Since then, we re-branded to dream: success, and our Dreams are even bigger. Our ambition is to bring education to every child on the planet. 💡 The news is now out. 💡 In early 2023, I'm traveling to every single state in the U.S. to shine a light on the power of charity and education to solve our global community’s biggest problems. I’m calling it the Year of Millions — a $1M campaign and a 1M subscriber goal on YouTube. Let me explain. For dream: success’ inaugural year, I’ll be raising $1M to support global education — starting with an education project (a school for up to 700 students) in Uganda. There's just one catch: I have to raise $10K in each state before moving on to the next one. And if someone gives $25K, it wipes away my progress in the state I’m in, and I have to work even harder to move forward. I'm also on a mission to highlight the great work charities do to change absolutely everything in their communities. So, I'm picking a charity to volunteer with in every state and sharing my experience to prove nonprofits have the most purposeful missions on the planet. And to top it all off, I'm Dreaming big: a million subscribers in my first year on YouTube. A community that massive is undeniable; together, we will undoubtedly #DreamWithoutLimits. I can't wait to see what the future holds and what we’ll learn along the way.
