I spent the Summer after my second year of University with the firms Technology Division where I was assigned to their Financial Engineering Credit Risk desk and worked on a MiFID II related project. 

•	Captured requirements from users for the replacement of a legacy risk process completed weekly by global teams
•	Designed a workflow, wrote unit tests and built an application from front to back that saved my team 10 hours a year of manual data entry which also helped to reduce operational risk and improve the audit trail of the weekly risk process.
•	Volunteered to do a side project with another team which was sponsored by the CIO to improve the usability of and standardize the firms Web Applications UI where I presented my findings and recommendations to 3 Vice Presidents.
•	Took part in the intern Hackathon for a whole day where we built a new feature for the firm’s desktop assistant and our team won the prize for best use of the firm’s internal resources as we made use of two existing API’s as well as the firms proprietary programming language for the feature to be able to work as efficiently as possible and easily implementable.
