Within my role as the Operations Director at 6B I was responsible for, and lead on all our business operations, continually working out inefficiencies in the day to day running, ensuring a high level of product quality for all our clients, and optimising our profit margins. I did this by working closely with teams and individuals within the company empowering them to build and improve organisational processes and systems all within a set of trackable minimal viable guardrails to ensure focused efforts, and aligned team goals.

My core responsibilities were:
➔ Team leadership, management and development of the middle office team including delivery, development, QA and creative
➔ Product quality - Working with the team leads to implement a culture focused around the fast flow of work through the system, quick and clear feedback and continuous improvement to ensure we are baking in quality and security at every level into products from their inception
➔ Organisational process, systems and efficiencies - Managing all core trackable quality, resourcing and profit metrics across the company through a variety of tools and dashboards
➔ Profitability - Using data and process improvements to deliver sustainable profit margins to ensure cash flow and continued growth

Other board level responsibilities include:
➔ Overall business strategy - Working with the board to identify and implement the company vision across the wider team and with our clients
➔ ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials

I have over 16 years of experience in the digital industry, working with ambitious and innovative organisations across various sectors and markets.

My core competencies include team leadership, management, and development, as well as designing and improving organisational processes and systems. I work closely with the delivery, development, QA, and creative teams, empowering them to build better products within a set of trackable and aligned goals. I also champion the team first, share best practices, and leverage my expertise in user interaction and human systems to enhance our digital delivery.
