Businesses who experiment, win. My mission is to speed up the adoption curve of decision-making via experiment. Why am I so focused on this? 🤔 💡 2 out of 3 ideas that teams generate will fail to generate any meaningful impact on the business. I didn't make this number up - ask the folks at Amazon, Google, Netflix, Intuit, or Booking.com who measure this stuff for their "win rate". 💡 Most of our insistence that we can beat that average - with "best practices", anecdotes from the field, yesterday's analytics data, or our own grandiose "genius" - is usually a case of "Fooled by Randomness" 💡 Therefore, the teams that can create shorter feedback loops, "test and learn" faster or cheaper to zero in on that 1 idea out of 3 that will move us towards our goals, will win. In business, we've never seen a bigger opportunity to accomplish this than online experiments (e.g. A/B tests) 💡 When we center experimentation as our driver of strategy, we don't just get better results. We build happier, more collaborative, less stressed teams. The Zen promise of "beginner's mind". If any of that sounds interesting, provocative, progressive, or otherwise forward-thinking.... this is your chance to be an early adopter. The competitive advantage is obvious (and well-researched), but if there are 5 competitors in your space, odds are that only 1 or 2 are leveraging even a portion of what's readily available today. Let me know how I can help you join that group.
