I spent the early part of my career in technology marketing with Seagate and running marketing for two technology startups. I learned how positioning, creative, systems, process, distribution, and strong partnerships impacted revenue on a large scale. I launched many products during that time, launched products en masse to large OEMs and grew several distribution relationships. I started SmartBug on the premise that we could deliver revenue-expanding results to our clients while at the same time provide a challenging work environment that offered growth, the ability to work with whip-smart colleagues and most importantly, time for the things that really matter in life: memories with the people you care about. To make this vision a reality, we founded SmartBug as one of the first fully-remote agencies. We had the hypothesis that we could hire better people, faster, and that they would care deeply for one another.
