As the Head of Learning at JobAdder, I was an early adopter of WalkMe and pioneered JobAdder's initial implementation in 2015. To further scale our online training initiatives the following year, I oversaw the implementation of TeachMe (online courses), enabling JobAdder to move away from the traditional LMS I had originally implemented. This combination of online courses and performance support built directly into JobAdder, empowers our users with a robust, self-paced learning experience and enables them to recruit with a competitive advantage.

To supplement our in-product tutorials, I also create product videos and help to manage JobAdder's Support Center. As the team lead, I routinely interface with the leaders of other internal departments around the world to ensure we are creating a positive and lasting impact for our clients and those they serve.

I maximized learning efficiency by focusing on alignment between measurable outcomes and learning activities. Additionally, I facilitated faculty development workshops for both tenured and adjunct faculty preparing to offer online courses in alignment with Quality Matters standards. I also designed and developed technical training documentation and tutorials for both in-person and online workshops. I partnered with departments across the University to increase the reach and impact of training programs and developed course content alongside SME’s for classes ranging from undergraduate to doctorate. I served as an integral part of a team that facilitated the University’s Learning Management System migration from Blackboard 9.1 to Canvas by Instructure.

As the Director of Academic Instructional Technology, I served as the system administrator of the institutions Learning Management System (LMS) and was accountable for leading a team of instructional design, media production and help desk staff.  I oversaw all design aspects of online instruction including course creation, merging, templates, troubleshooting and content delivery involving hundreds of courses and thousands of students in various content areas each term.  Collaborating with faculty and program managers to ensure quality course design and delivery based on best practices and adult learning theory was an important focus of my role.  I directed the transition of the institutions Learning Management System from Blackboard/WebCT CE 8.0 to Blackboard Learn 9.1, providing a seamless conversion for all stakeholders through effective communication and the development of training programs both online and in person.  I was accountable and responsible for decisions regarding upgrades, including their impact and timing in relation to institutional schedules, for Blackboard Learn and its associated technologies.  Additionally, I was responsible for managing and maintaining institutional licenses related to instructional technology and staffing in the department.  I designed, created and facilitated self-paced training courses on online pedagogy as well as built websites and content for instructor and student support.

I guided classroom teachers through incorporating technology into their daily instruction and assisted each participating teachers with creating their own website to increase student access to content and open a communication pathway between parents and teachers.
