I collaborated with a private international organization on developing modular UVGI-AP-TNPI (Ultraviolet Germicidal Irradiation Air-Purifying Temporary Negative Pressure Isolation) units. These medical devices were designed for patients battling COVID-19. Within the project, my job was to research and identify the best material for constructing the body of the units.  After careful evaluation, we chose UV Stabilized Polycarbonate, for its durability and excellent light transmission - critical properties for designing safe units.

For my undergraduate studies, I conducted research on solar energy devices and nanotechnology, specifically focusing on the "Optoelectronic Properties of Cadmium Sulphide-based Thin Films for Window Layer Application." I explored different deposition techniques like chemical bath deposition, SILAR, thermal evaporation, and physical vapor deposition to analyze their effects on thin film thickness, electrical conductivity, and UV radiation absorption. Using characterization techniques such as SEM, EDX, XRD, AFM, UV-Vis Spectroscopy, and Hall Measurement System, I found that thin films deposited through physical vapor deposition yielded the most promising results.
