With over 9 years of experience as a GRC analyst and a 3PAO FedRAMP auditor, I have a strong foundation in federal government compliance, cloud data governance, and data security. I am passionate about driving compliance excellence, optimizing cloud architectures, and ensuring the security of data and networks in an ever-evolving digital landscape. I currently have a focus on data compliance and database architectures. I am currently a data analyst intern at Quantium, a leading data science and AI company, where I contribute to a strategic analysis project supporting the upcoming category review, focusing on chip purchasing behavior and customer segments. I leverage my skills in R, Python, AWS, and Azure to perform high-level data checks, preprocessing, cleaning, and control store selection, as well as to define metrics, conduct statistical analysis, and formulate recommendations for business processes and commercial applications. I also implement data validation, monitoring, and error-handling methods to ensure data quality, and assist data engineers with QA and code reviews, contributing to the enhancement of overall data engineering processes. In addition to my role as a data analyst, I serve as an advisory committee member at Atlanta Technical College, where I collaborate with academic leaders to develop cybersecurity training programs that align with industry standards. I conduct security assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities recommend solutions to enhance network security, and advise on the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and best practices for the institution. I also provide guidance to faculty and staff on cybersecurity issues and emerging trends.
