Working as expense management controller under Asset Management Business, managing & supervising team’s activities in Poland & India which includes analyzing, investigating, and explaining key movements and trends in major P&L lines.

Accomplishments
Successfully completed LEAP project (Legal Entity Analysis of Profitability). The project analyzed key drivers for the profitability of Legal Entities resulting in strengthening transfer pricing methodologies and ascertain the correctness of internal allocations. Performed a pilot run for APAC which improved profitability by 6% and slowly leveraged to other regions, like EMEA, AMER, and SWISS. 

Identified Litigation and Legal expense provisions wrongly booked in ledgers, which were later corrected by the legal team, resulting cost avoidance to Asset Management for $0.5mn in 2017. 

Achieved a total of 300 man-hours saved by eliminating redundant processes resulting in FTE efficiency

Managing $1bn expense budget (including allocations) for AM CFO and achieving 2% expense saving targets YoY

Pivotal in design, testing and implementing of new AM Internal allocation engine, resulted in 4 FTE efficiencies

Instrumental in providing Operating expense flash estimates during month-end close with 99% accuracy to senior management

Cleaned up aged expense accrual balances resulting in Liability reduction of $1.2mn

Completely streamlined the expense recovery process toning down the aged receivables under 3 months

Provided a global, top 10 spend report by vendors to senior management that helped in negotiating vendor contracts and generating savings of $0.2mn

Accomplishments
Successfully transitioned finance processes from BT USA to Accenture Chennai and then to BT Gurgaon. Performed 30 major process improvements that saved approximately 3,840 man-hours. 

Completed Six Challenge Cup projects with zero control issues and green on Sox Compliance that resulted cost avoidance to the tune of $0.3mn. 

Managed team of 26 people and supported end-to-end P&L processes for Shared Services of BT USA

On Assignment to manage accounts and finance for BT Global Services

Reviewed monthly revenue and explained significant movements (variance analysis) to senior management and executives for several legal entities for internal trading ($120 million) and external revenue ($8 million).
