Greetings! I'm Sajjad Neyestani, an Intellectual Property Legal Adviser, a Master's student of Intellectual Property Law, and a passionate advocate for the economic analysis of law. Currently, I have the privilege of working as a researcher and consultant of IP in the Ministry of Justice, as well as being a lawyer trainee in Iran. My journey in the world of IP Law began at Tarbiat Modares University, one of Iran's top academic institutions. Here, I immersed myself in the intricate web of patents, trademarks, trade secrets, and copyright law. Guiding innovators through this labyrinth of legal intricacies soon became my forte. Driven by an insatiable curiosity, I embarked on a path of continuous learning and growth. Currently pursuing an MBA in Strategic Management at the Faculty of Management at the University of Tehran, I have gained valuable insights into the strategic aspects of innovation and technology. This allows me to offer clients astute guidance on how to leverage these powerful tools for their business growth. My passion for IP extends beyond the academic realm. As the founder of NoAvard and DaadOnline, two innovative online startups, I have experienced firsthand the challenges faced by businesses in navigating legal hurdles. This practical entrepreneurial perspective has equipped me with a unique understanding of the complex landscape my clients may encounter. One of the most fulfilling aspects of my journey has been collaboration with the Science and Technology Park at my University. This vibrant hub of innovation and entrepreneurship has provided me with invaluable opportunities to work on multiple projects, including the development of an IP management system specifically tailored for startups. Witnessing the transformative power of ideas and the potential for growth in this ecosystem has further fueled my dedication to IPR. To deepen my knowledge and stay at the forefront of the ever-evolving field, I have also participated in various WIPO courses and summer schools, delving into topics such as Intellectual Property, the digital economy, AI, and frontier technologies. As we stand on the cusp of a technological revolution, I am filled with excitement about the transformative power of blockchain and AI. As an academic, I aspire to contribute to the growth of knowledge and expertise in intellectual property and innovation management.
