I am a dynamic and multifaceted Facility and Operations Manager with a proven record of success managing complex facilities, properties, and assets. I am well versed in project management and CMMS in addition to building management systems, construction management, budget management, and team leadership and development. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and certifications in water reclamation from the cities of Long Beach and Los Angeles; and I remain up to date with emerging technologies and best practices. Throughout my career, I’ve had the pleasure of serving in multiple key leadership capacities, including General Manager/Plant Manager, Maintenance and Grounds Supervisor, and most recently, Assistant Director of Facilities Planning and Operations at Compton Community College. Inherently driven, I am well adept at evaluating and estimating construction and maintenance needs to provide cost-effective solutions while ensuring projects are executed on time and budget. I have also overseen hundreds of thousands of dollars in company assets including vehicles, equipment, and machinery while routinely sharing actionable, data-driven reports. My track record of achievement includes managing a massive renovation of the college’s physical plant at Compton. I fostered robust relationships with architects, engineers, contractors, and inspectors to determine the project scope, requirements, milestones, and costs. I also assisted in the development of annual maintenance and capital construction budgets while controlling expenditures per the P&L.
