Food is an essential part of everyone’s life, but it’s something more for me. It is the glue that brings together my friends and family. But for that to happen, you need ingredients (up-to-date packages), a kitchen (Workbench), and a dining table (place to publish/share data) to eat at. Put simply, if you don’t have the ingredients to make the food, a place to prepare and consume the food, then it’s meaningless. I apply that same thinking and approach when advocating for data scientists: they must have the proper packages for coding, a workbench to create the code, and a platform for hosting it. In essence, all the conditions of a successful data scientist must be satisfied to achieve peak productivity. Without, data scientists are essentially cooking with expired ingredients outside of a kitchen, standing. That must be a very underwhelming gathering, huh? TLDR: I help data scientists achieve peak flow by providing them the tools to do their job simply and effectively.
