Pulling prospects out of the woodwork...literally

Sometimes sales just takes time, don't lost patience and don't get desperate! Some tips for nurturing prospects, even over several months:

🚀 Empathise: Begin by thoroughly understanding your prospect's pain points, goals, and challenges. This initial phase sets the stage for meaningful interactions down the road.

🚀 Personalised Your Outreach: Tailor your communication to resonate with the prospect. Whether it's an email, a LinkedIn message, or a phone call, ensure that your outreach is relevant and adds value to their journey.

🚀 Provide Value in EVERY interaction: Offer insights, resources, or solutions that address the prospect's specific pain points. Position yourself as a trusted advisor 

🚀 Stay Engaged: Consistent follow-ups are key to staying top-of-mind. However, avoid being overly pushy. Instead, aim to nurture a genuine relationship built on trust and mutual respect.

🚀 Listen Actively: Pay close attention to the prospect's feedback and responses. Use this insight to refine your approach and tailor your offerings accordingly.

🚀 Offer Solutions: As the prospect progresses through their decision-making process, be ready to tweak and improve your solutions for their evolving needs

🚀 Demonstrate ROI: Showcase the tangible benefits and outcomes that your product or service can deliver. Concrete evidence of value will help solidify the prospect's decision to move forward.

How to find accounts most likely to buy  👀 

The golden low-hanging fruit 🍇 🍍 

Your CRM is a veritable tropical island of such fruit

Here's how:

1️⃣ Analyse Past Buyers: Create a CRM report of Closed Won deals from the past 2 years. Include key details like:

- industry
- location
- company age
- ARR amount
- number of employees
- personas involved in the purchase.

2️⃣ Identify Similar Prospects: Use this data to create a report of prospects in your territory or account list that share the same account demographics

By focusing on accounts with characteristics similar to your successful past buyers, you're targeting the low-hanging fruit – those most likely to convert. 

It's a straightforward approach that can yield quick wins - ideal for new hires!

"Have you got a customer reference from another company in our industry?"

When you enter a new market, you may dread this question coming up

"How can I tell them we don't without appearing like a tiny startup?"

But it needn't be a question to fear.

In fact it can serve as a great opportunity to add trust and authenticity

In true Marketing style, I've developed an Acronym framework aimed to navigate this question. 

I really hope it helps you too.

I call it the R.E.F.E.R framework. 

This is the go-to guide that I've developed for us at RocketPhone.ai to use when a prospect requests an industry-specific reference, and we come up short.

R - Recognise the prospect's concern

Understand their request for specific industry references. Admitting you lack what they ask for creates authenticity and shows integrity.

E - Empathise with their concern 

Speak their language. Understand why they think an industry-specific reference is important. Validating their concern builds rapport.

F - Fortify your expertise

Share your experience. Talk about the challenges you have tackled and how you overcame them, even in different industries. This creates a perception of adaptability and problem-solving skills.

E - Explain your unique successes 

Talk about your triumphs. Explain how your product achieved success in other industries and why that's relevant. It's about results, not just industry knowledge. 

R - Reinforce why your solutions are industry-agnostic

Reinforce that an industry reference is valuable, but it's the expertise that ultimately delivers great products. Showcase success stories where clients had similar concerns but were satisfied with your work.

Yes, having references in the same industry would have been great. But remember, we're not limited to who we've worked with before.
