Audited, strategized, implemented, and monitored Doodeo’s social media marketing strategy across Facebook and Instagram. Drafted content and copy and designed social media posts to connect and engage with Doodeo’s target audience. I also strategized and provided creative direction for email campaigns, blog posts, internal and external campaigns to promote brand awareness and buy-in.

Sonder 

Carried out comprehensive research of customer channels and social media platforms; Facebook, TripAdvisor and Quora to identify, categorise and map out pain points of Sonder’s target audience. Built buyer personas and proposed an ‘Inbound Marketing Strategy’ for each persona. Using Mailchimp I designed user-focused email marketing templates for intended users and consumers. Additionally, I conducted a comprehensive marketing strategy analysis of Sonder’s ten competitors that examined and evaluated competitors’ content production and distribution, social media presence and engagement and web analytics. I provided strategic input and direction for the brand based on the study and exploration of Sonder’s vision, mission, and objectives, and comparing them against its competitors’ best practices and strategies.

I was selected as a spokesperson from a pool of 250+ applicants as a Student Voice Champion to represent the Undergraduate students, from the Middle East and Africa region. I advised the SVG on current and prospective projects and ideas the University is developing for the development of current and prospective student engagement culture at the University. Also provided feedback to ad hoc requests about student experience, university communications, student engagement, learning environment and career development. I also invited to write posts for the University’s official student blog, social media, and other channels to share my experience of being a student voice champion.

Taskforce | PGN is a combined network of emerging professionals that work on research project, with the goal of contributing to business success, and other projects that helps promote professional growth and engagement in the wider business. As a member of the network’s leadership team, I was responsible for facilitating network’s internal communications and network’s branding and promotion in the Middle East business.

Got promoted to the position of Bid Coordinator and made responsible for business development support in the Middle East - proposals, prequalification, and expression of interest from inception to delivery. This included analysis of bid requirements, drafting bid schedules, communicating the deliverables to relevant stakeholders, coordinating responses, and managing and collating final proposals to clients.

Coordinated company events and conferences logistics, conducted presentation skills training while providing branding, marketing and internal and external communications support to the regional offices. Besides, I created, tracked and managed bid delivery that involved developing and delivering bid proposals, prequalification and expressions of interest to clients.

Marketing Coordinator, MENA

I served as the regional spokesperson for the network. I established, led, managed, communicated, engaged and the network on a regional and global level. With support from senior management and regional PGN representatives, I designed and supported the implementation PGN MENA’s strategic direction within the scope of the financial and administrative resources allocated to the network for the fiscal year and in accordance to the global PGN mission and vision. I directed and supported the establishment of five local office PGN chapters in the region during my tenure, facilitating communications and engagement between the chapters, other Parsons Brinckerhoff communities, focus groups and global PGN. I also provided quarterly updates to the region’s senior management on the network’s program progress and sought feedback on the roll out and promotion of yearly initiatives - Mentorship Program, Enginuity, Brown Bags, EP Paper Competition, PGN Week, Knowledge Exchange, Soft Skills Training, Skills of a Successful Manager Workshop, and discussed opportunities for undertaking new ones. For 2014, the regional employee engagement survey recorded breakthrough employee satisfactions results, majority of which was contributed to PGN’s activities and its leadership’s efforts in the region.

Chair - Professional Growth Network Middle East & Northern Africa

I supported regional Sustainability led initiatives to establish and strengthen sustainable practices. I assisted in defining goals, performance metrics and the Sustainability Action Plan for MENA while overseeing the collection, synthesis, and dissemination of GHG Carbon data. I also designed and maintained the Sustainability 360 intranet page, brochures, newsletters, and other promotional materials and/or publications, press releases, ads and flyers, and schedules for release of publicity materials. Besides serving as the clearinghouse for requests related to sustainability issues, I also provided support to blueshoots MENA Steering Committee and encouraged and facilitated the sustainability programs initiated by the group in the region.

Sustainability Coordinator - Middle East

I prepared, managed, and oversaw proposal preparation; collating content and graphics, compiling and printing packages, project document control and project administration. I also implemented and monitored the Business Management System (BMS) for all proposals besides maintaining business development and support library reviewing and updating the database, employees’ curriculum vitae and certificates, templates, procedures, corporate communications, and other information.

Professional Growth Network or PGN was an employee led network that aimed at furthering the professional and personal development on employees in the business with regional chapters set up in all operational geographies. In the capacity as the Vice-Chair, I delivered media and events support to all PGN activities across the Middle East while assisting the PGN MENA Chair. I also planned and coordinated charity and social activities across the region – World Earth Day Walkathon, Happy Hour in celebration of Earth Hour, MENA Family Cultural Day, Ramadan Charity Drive, MENA Sports Fest, Wear it Pink!, Annual Corporate Luncheon, etc.
