Marketing Manager

GeoSLAM

Overseeing and leading GeoSLAM's core marketing function and ensuring that, as a team, we are effectively promoting the GeoSLAM brand and generating demand. This involved:

➡️ Leading a talented team of 8 marketers covering a range of areas from content to digital, and product marketing
➡️ Monitoring the marketing budget on a monthly basis and allocating funds wisely
➡️ Selecting relevant events to drive awareness in key regions and to gain insights
➡️ Supporting events coordinator with the organisation of global events such as exhibitions and distributor dinners
➡️ Attending global exhibitions to ensure stand is set up correctly and to provide support on the stand during and post event
➡️ Working closely with other functions within the organisation to ensure customer needs and demands are being met
➡️ Collaborating with digital agency on implementing SEO and PPC campaigns
➡️ Oversee and approve marketing material, including blogs, case studies and emails
➡️ Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals
➡️ Ensuring Marketing platforms and tools, such as HubSpot, are optimised and working efficiently
➡️ Support the wider marketing team with planning and execution of campaigns
➡️ Preparing and presenting quarterly business reviews to senior management

Senior Marketing Manager

Owning the Digital Marketing piece by:
➡️ Maintaining the website and improving the overall user experience with design updates
➡️ Growing the GeoSLAM social media audience and engagement by reviewing analytics to see what's working
➡️ Working closely with our Digital Agency to improve SEO and increase PPC performance
➡️ Schedule and run webinars for lead generation and for also educating our existing customer base
➡️ Collaborating with the wider marketing team to ensure we’re getting the most value from our content
➡️ Planning and executing email marketing campaigns to ensure consistent communication with our lead database, our customers and our distribution network.
➡️ Championing HubSpot as our marketing automation platform. Creating automation workflows, email nurturing workflows and ensuring the data is kept clean and is integrating successfully with SalesForce CRM.

Digital Marketing Manager

Working closely with our global network of over 90 Channel Partners to increase engagement and enable them to be successful GeoSLAM distributors by providing them with the resources they need. 

➡️ Developed channel enablement marketing plan for 20/21 FY
➡️ Creating sales and marketing resources to support the channel network including price lists, product catalogue and case studies
➡️ Ensuring GeoSLAM brand is well represented throughout the channel network
➡️ Responsible for the on-boarding and off-boarding process of channel partners including agreements
➡️ Using marketing platforms such as HubSpot for email communications and monthly newsletters
➡️ Using Adobe Creative Cloud such as photoshop, illustrator and InDesign for creating collateral
➡️ Creating video content using Camtasia, for example case study videos
➡️ Managing the on-going measurement of channel performance using CRM and PRM data
➡️ Keeping the channel portal refreshed with new content, training videos and playbooks
➡️ Creating and sharing content on Social Media
➡️ Working closely with the Sales team to understand the needs of the channel and to provide resources to help them sell

Channel Marketing Executive

➡️ Supporting global Channel Managers across different regions with leads and processing sales orders
➡️ Creating CRM reports and analysing the data to identify trends within regions and segments
➡️ Working closely with the Marketing team on tasks such as communications timelines, updating the events planner and keeping the events web page up to date
➡️ Compiling mailing lists using CRM data for targeted email campaigns
➡️ Worked with the Marketing Manager on aspects of the segmentation planning by gaining insights from Channel Managers on current and potential markets to identify key markets and growth areas
➡️ Supporting the integration of the PRM system for managing leads and resources with Channel Partners 
➡️ Responsible for the on-boarding process of new Channel Partners 
➡️ Updating customer price lists and product catalogue

Inside Sales Coordinator

Derwent Students

•	Tracking and monitoring spend to ensure marketing budgets were not exceeded
•	Working with design agencies and providing briefs for campaign artwork
•	Arranging outdoor advertising (billboard, bus shelter ads) and ordering promotional items
•	Managing social media accounts (Facebook and Twitter). Responding to customer queries and creating Facebook Ads.

Marketing (Secondment) 

•	Manage relationships with international agents by ensuring best practice
•	Maximise bookings by recruiting successful agents, negotiating commission terms and setting up contracts
•	Respond to enquiries from stakeholders and customers by providing appropriate advice via multiple channels
•	Collaborate with the Marketing team and provide accurate data from the CRM system
•	Produce weekly, monthly and end of year statistical reports on booking statistics for internal and external stakeholders
•	Supported the systems team with the setup of 13 new schemes on the CRM system
•	Remote management of a small scheme by taking bookings, arranging maintenance, dealing with student enquiries and frequent site visits.

International Sales Executive

Premier Inn

•	Assistant Manager to a team of 35+ including 1 Level 2 apprentice
•	Completing regular management tasks such as payroll, forecasting labour and sales, profit protection checks
•	Took ownership for the full recruitment process, inducting new team members and supporting the new apprentice through training and coaching
•	Volunteered as note taker for disciplinary/HR meetings to develop skills in employee relations
•	Organised and carried out all 121’s and identified opportunities for team development

Assistant Operations Manager

•	Accountable for the management of a team of 20 including 1 level 2 and 1 level 3 apprentices
•	managed performance through coaching and 121’s
•	Created strategy plans in order to achieve budgets and targets
•	Achieved 100% on all CMI (H&S) audits by following procedures and training the team
•	Reviewing guest feedback – Action plans for areas of improvement and sharing compliments
•	Completed quarterly in depth audits to ensure brand standards were being met by all

Operations Manager

•	12-month fast track training programme to develop leadership and management skills
•	Passed all internal and external courses. This included Employee Relations, Communicating Effectively, Sales, Coaching and Leadership workshops
•	Completed all 3 internal leadership courses; including one aimed at experienced Operation Managers and Area Managers
•	Presented a retention project to the COO of Premier Inn and made recommendations for retaining Housekeeping employees
