Matchr

•	I joined Matchr as a Senior Tech Recruiter and Account Manager for multiple start up and scale up clients across Europe and assisted these companies in hiring the best talent for their Engineering teams.
•	I have been involved in multiple projects that covered either fully embedded services where the team become extensions to internal TA teams and assist with not only hiring, but also with various recruitment strategies and processes.
•	I also worked with a number of clients on the Agency (pay per hire) model across Europe and for various tech and business roles.
•	Project teams differed depending on the client needs. I have worked with clients on my own in a 360 capacity managing a few roles while also developing their recruitment function, to managing larger projects like TikTok that required a team of sourcers and myself to cover the full spectrum of the recruiting lifecycle from sourcing to offer stage for 15 – 20 roles at a time in their GTM team. For all these projects, I have been the Account Manager reporting into Stakeholders at the client as well as to internal Matchr Leadership teams.

•	In February 2022, I got my first team member to work under my guidance and an additional 2 more people 2 months later, all while still managing my own client projects.
•	Through my mentoring and guidance, I’ve had 1 of my team members being promoted to a Senior role within her first 12 months, while she also achieved “Most hires for 2022”.

•	I am also actively involved with internal projects at Matchr that include:
o	Weekly and bi-monthly training and coaching of teams or individuals ie Screening Interviews, Offer & Closing Techniques, Monthly Data Presentations and Pitching of Matchr to clients.
o	Leading technical assignment rounds for the internal hiring process of recruitment specialists for Matchr
o	Assisting our Sales team with potential client lists 
o	Full Company Employment/Employee Branding initiatives
o	Developing Customer Case Studies for Marketing purposes

Lead Recruitment Specialist

I source key talent for my niche selection of clients within the IT space, predominately focusing on Consulting/ISP environments. In saying that I have developed a great love for finance and have a great pool of Finance candidates from grads to FMs.

My passion is to become a key partner to my clients, offering them my 16 years of skills and experience in sourcing and discovering key talent that marriage perfectly when it comes to the values, passion and drive of the companies I work with.

Because I have always had a fascination for the IT industry, and a love for people, I naturally “fell” into recruitment. I enjoy building and connecting with both strong talent and aspiring companies.

Independent Talent Acquisition Specialist | IT & Finance

Outcor Recruitment

Early 2016 presented itself with a turning point in my career. RecruitGroup closed their doors quite suddenly but soon after I was offered a role (alongside a colleague of mine) to start up and run a new company under the Outcor Group specialising in offering Recruitment, Payroll and HR solutions to various industries and various levels of business. We pride ourselves are being a boutique agency who value building strong partnerships with key clients and candidates alike. 

In just 3 years, we have grown from a team of two to a small specialist team of 7 with each consultant specialising in their expertise and passion. Our main specialities are: IT and Telco, Finance, Marketing & Media, Commercial, Engineering and Property. Because of our Recruiter License to LinkedIn we are not limited to these specialties and will provide top talent to our clients, whatever their needs might be.

I am still actively recruiting for my own key clients, most I have worked with for close to 8 years and enjoy being on the ground still doing the recruitment bit. I still have a love for the technology and digital field but have also gained new knowledge and experience in other industries like Finance and Marketing. I have also loved taking on the new challenge of running a company from an operational point of view. Getting involved with budgets, marketing campaigns, process re-engineering and training. 

Growing the team from scratch and being actively involved in coaching, mentoring and growing graduates into strong consultants has been a really great experience and I love seeing others being successful and reaching their goals.

Recruitment Manager

RecruitGroup

•	In January 2014, I was promoted to Head of Special Projects which included overseeing the Gauteng RPO (Recruitment Process Outsourcing) team as well as the office based Project Consultants team.
•	I touched base with the senior consultants once a week for pipeline and client updates, while mentoring and monitoring the junior consultants on a daily basis, offering assistance and training whenever it was needed.

•	While managing these teams I still remained actively involved with recruiting for a few of my own key clients from corporates to smaller enterprises. 
•	I cover the entire process of recruitment with the clients and candidates, from consulting through the job description and researching industry salary brackets to handling the on-boarding documents directly with the internal HR teams.

Head of Special Projects

•	In August of 2012, I was Headhunted to the Award Winning and one of the largest privately owned recruitment agencies – RecruitGroup to start up their Contracting Division – Recruitrate. 
•	This was a great opportunity for me to share my skills and experience in the contracting and temping field that RecruitGroup had never done before, as well as a new challenge for me to start up an entire division and train not only the permanent consultants on how contracting worked but also the finance team working with the timesheets and payroll etc.
•	In April 2013, RecruitGroup created a new solution offering to their clients called, RPO (Recruitment Process Outsourcing) and needed Senior Consultants to be based in the team who could not only manage the accounts and clients brought in but also to fulfil a wide range of other skills including:
o	Recruitment
o	Project management
o	Reporting
o	Training of client HR/Recruiters
o	Onboarding of new employees, and
o	Ad-hoc HR functions. 
•	I was immediately drawn to a new challenge as it was a very new concept in the industry and a completely different way of doing recruitment.
•	It also gave me a chance to be based at various clients of mine and really get to learn the ins and outs of their business.

Account Manager and Recruiting Specialist for Contracting roles

In 2009, I left Techies SA to join the well established and one of the leading IT Service Providers in Southern Africa - EOH as a Senior Recruitment Consultant.
I started off with a small team under me in the EOH Resourcing team, but still very involved through the whole life cycle of the recruitment process. Straight away I needed to establish my own Client base and therefore began with New Business Development, and building relationships with managers of existing clients as well as internal managers within EOH. Channels to source candidates expanded to include other search engines but also social networking media. I also got involved and focused on contracting recruitment which although was a complete change in mindset compared to permanent recruitment, I greatly appreciated the fast paced process of contracting placements. 

In March 2010 EOH entered a new era in service excellence where they acquired Abacus Recruitment, an established recruitment agency mainly focused around Permanent IT recruitment, to form a part of their service offerings by becoming EOH Recruitment Solutions. We then expanded our offerings to include recruitment for the Engineering, Financial, Legal, Office Support, Medical and SAP industries. We also opened a new division that specialises in the recruitment of people with disabilities, without being limited to a specific industry and proficiency type.

I am still specializing in the IT recruitment (70% of my time on contractors) but not limiting myself to any specific area of IT. I enjoy working across the IT platform and meeting people from various IT Technologies and levels of experience.

Senior Recruitment Consultant

Techies SA

After completing my degree I received a permanent position as a Junior Recruitment Consultant at Techies SA. I got straight to work and started developing clients and building relationships through cold calling and telesales. I soon became part of the team and got involved with the entire recruitment process from drawing up Job Descriptions with clients to screening suitable candidates, from setting up interviews between candidates and clients to negotiating and assisting with Offers and Employment Contracts. I became a Senior consultant at Techies and my responsibilities grew to include training and mentoring the junior consultants that joined throughout the 5 or so years I was there. All in all, Techies offered me a fantastic foundation into the world of Recruitment but I really wanted to be a part of a corporate company and got the opportunity in 2009 to join EOH (Pty) Ltd as a Senior Recruitment Consultant.
