Communicate the goals and successes of initiatives within the iLab at the Center for Distributed Learning. Write web content, including but not limited to, landing pages and faculty spotlights. Enrolled and processed new hire insurance benefits with the State of Florida System, People First. Answered phones and greeted employees at the front desk. Communicated with employees across the university, insurance companies nationwide, and state benefit offices statewide via the phone, computer, and fax machine.  Assisted employees on their choices concerning insurance plans and benefits. Helped lead group enrollment workshops for new employees. Deposited checks for premiums and processed mail. Organized the Annual Benefits Fair; contacted vendors and promoters. Promoted to Program Assistant from file clerk in June 2005. Promoted to HR Representative in January 2006.

Administrative Assistant

Stephen C. O'Connell Center

Coordinated and supervised the usher/changeover division for high-profiled events such as commencements, concerts, and sporting events, e.g. Gator men's basketball. This included the set-up and strike of events, beginning to end, while overseeing crews of 40 employees at a time. Communicated with both llower-levelemployees and administrators, including the building director and associate directors, to ensure a smooth event from start to finish. Worked on setup and production for the University of Florida's homecoming show called Gator Growl.
