Marketing Consultant

I crafted COE's online marketing strategy, including the development of a new Wordpress website and Linkedin Strategy. Designed all marketing collateral, including social posts, slide decks and brochures using Canva. Coordinated the collection of member content in the form of blog articles and webinar discussion wrap ups. Onboarded +60 new members, hosted member socials, webinars and yearly AGMs. 

Contracted via Club of Engineers, as Consultant to Clients: 

1) Cape Ocean Terminals: Coordinated weekly internal meetings and external meetings with JV partners. Set up Document Management process, and acted as business support to Head of BD.

2) Carbonado Energy: Developed weekly meeting agenda and action tracking process for offices.

Marketing Manager

Oil & Gas Council

I developed, implemented and tracked the marketing strategy for annual events in Dakar and Paris. I coordinated a marketing team for the company’s leading event in London in 2019, and produced a networking event with +150 attendees in Cape Town in 2018. My marketing efforts were focused on email, Facebook and Linkedin marketing. I was passionate about collecting content prior to and onsite at each event, in the form of blogs, interviews and thought pieces. The events focused on an audience of oil and gas exploration companies, financiers and investors.

Saab Market Area Europe, Middle-East & Africa

I was a CRM Superuser at SAAB, responsible for training the marketing and business development department on how to use the platform, as well how to accurately portray their prospective sales for forecasting purposes. I submitted the department’s monthly CRM reports into global HQ and coordinated the monthly marketing and business development meetings. I represented the company’s CSR project aimed at developing a military grade device to track rhinos in an anti-poaching forum. I was an events assistant at golf days, airshows and product demonstrations.
