Technical Program Manager

SiriusXM

• Worked with Client Solutions Architect team to define intake processes across Jira and Slack, in addition to processes for communicating client solutions to the front-end and back-end teams.
• Established a Working Group across Solutions Architecture, Product, and Engineering (back and front-end) for incoming Content Engineering feature work to transition from siloed work from teams to a full-stack focus.
• Worked with Solutions Architects and Product Owners to create technical briefs and create technical requirements in Jira, translating Product requirements to actionable technical direction for front and back-end engineering groups.

• Work within the Cloud, Apps, Test, & Tooling organization to bridge communications between test and simulation focused teams.

• Work closely with the Hardware in the Loop (HIL) team to provide test benches for all engineers to use.

Senior Technical Program Manager

Disney Streaming

• Worked with engineering lead, outsourced engineers, QA, Product, and Design to maintain and update Hulu on Roku. Communicated across many other front-end and back-end teams at Disney working on Hulu in support of new features and app updates. Also communicated with our partners at Roku around Hulu product updates and our needs from the platform.

• Acted as TPM for the Onboarding, Commerce, and Identity workstream for the Roku platform. This wprkstream provides updates relating to these areas of our supported apps (Hulu, Disney+, and Star+) and included constant communication with QA, Engineering, Product, and Design around new features and app updates.

Technical Project Manager

• Communicated with QA, Product Owners, Program Management, and many other Back-End teams to ensure the Disney+ and Star+ Roku teams had what they needed in order to complete their work - acted as a servant leader and force multiplier for the team of development and test engineers.

• Interfaced with our partners at Roku around our needs from the platform and within their firmware releases. Maintained awareness of our project releases, and submitted to their certification process. Maintained all related product channels, SKUs, and metadata in their backend system.

• Project managed an experimental team of 12 cross-platform contract SDETs, along with engineering leads and Project Managers from each platform. Focused on improving product quality and automating testing of low level systems that were not historically covered by our embedded QA teams.

Associate Technical Project Manager

• Served as the main QA point of contact for complete app rewrites of Disney+, ESPN+, and NHL.tv on Playstation devices as we transitioned to our newly established Native Client Platform. Provided guidance around testing needs to engineering teams, authored weekly status updates and JIRA dashboards for tracking testing efforts, and managed cross-team testing team members to ensure code changes did not go more than one day without test coverage due to the compressed development timeline.

• Acted as QA Lead for Disney+ on Playstation 4 & 5 from the start of the project through extensive feature releases and territory expansions. I created hundreds of test cases based on user stories, worked with automation engineers to automate many of our test cases, worked closely with our TPM and Lead Engineer to determine release scope and perform regular bug triages.

• Former QA Lead for NHL.tv apps on all supported connected devices. Oversaw testing of continuous updates, managed test cases/plans for use by multiple testers, and worked with our newly formed automation team to provide roughly 60% automated test coverage.

• Worked with the Onboarding and Campaign pod designers and PM to ensure the best possible introduction to the game for players, as well as sustained, long-term interest.

Responsibilities:

• Acted as the main point of contact for the PS4 port, leading the testing efforts of a team of four in-house testers and liasing with a team of ten testers at our Publisher. This work involved TRC, performance, and functionality testing of this new version of the game.
• Assisted the QA Lead with developing the team, such as the effort to refactor our testing process to utilize a modified version of Scrum.
• Worked closely with the Systems team to test new features, such as new character classes, continuous combat balance updates, and the re-worked Mount System.
• Mentored and assisted new Game Testers, familiarizing them with the Cryptic Engine.
• Created and implemented modular Test Plans and Suites for upcoming content usable by many testers.
• Developed Python skills to contribute automated testing methodologies to the Neverwinter team.

• Edited video content encompassing industry trade shows, maker profiles, product reviews, and large scale projects such as The Bay Lights.
