Three decades in and I'm just getting warmed up. Spent the first half of my life in the greater NYC area. And yes the pizza and bagels are second to none. Anywho, moved to the Midwest for university, finished up with a chem degree, built a decade-long career in pharma, and subsequently made a pivot to tech. Growing up I watched my dad, uncle, and cousin all run their own businesses. The choices and flexibility they created in their lives was way more attractive than the 9-6 (btw no shade to the traditional career path). However, I didn't want to cold-turkey quit my job, and start something that my whole livelihood was going to depend on. So I opted for the side-hustle space where I could build alongside work. While I am proud of the career I've built, as I look towards the future, I'm even more pumped to continue growing in the entrepreneurial arena. Something I think about often: time is finite. Define your values. Align your calendar to them. And you'll live a full life.
