Sam Laan's Linkedin Analytics

Hello, my name is Sam Laan, born in Grootebroek, and currently living in Alkmaar. I am an enthusiastic programmer who makes a living out of his hobby. My interest in computers started at a young age. I was intrigued by the seemingly magical things a computer could do. This interest resulted in the decision to study computer science at InHolland Hogeschool in Alkmaar. During my studies, I learned about programming and the inner workings of a computer/electronics. Besides this, I took up a programming job at Automated4u, a company making automation solutions for the agricultural sector. This is where I learned that the thing I love most about being a software engineer is to make a customer's life easier by creating a solution that lives up to their needs and expectations. That is why after my graduation by finishing an internship at Sogeti, I started working at Kwakmangroep to build solutions to speed up their business processes. Currently, I'm working at Technobis 4 days a week, realizing software for high/med-tech products. Besides this to keep doing web development I started my own business called ITSam.
