Over the last 20 years, I have founded and run several businesses. I’ve had ups and downs during the journey, which taught me how important it is to have the right skillset, expertise and contacts when starting and running a bootstrapped business. Besides business, my other passion has been accounting and finance. During the last 10 years, I have been studying this subject in further and higher education, gaining experience while working for multi-academy-trusts and mastering these skills to become an expert in this field. The combination of the above expertise, skills and experience I acquired during setting up, operating and scaling up businesses has led me to enter business consulting specifically in a field of education where I have been offering my knowledge and expertise to other education businesses. Post-Brexit and post-Covid, I recognised that many small businesses find it very difficult to adjust, scale up and grow their operation. The problem usually comes from one of the below: - Lack of marketing and sales strategy - Lack of financial controls and systems - Lack of capital - Lack of knowledge and/or network As a result, in 2023, I established: Scale Up Outsourcing Ltd – an offshore team augmentation agency, with the aim of providing small businesses with remote/virtual specialists with a variety of expertise in: marketing, sales, customer support, general business support etc. Prosperitas Investment Group Ltd – an M&A group of very successful entrepreneurs and business investors, many of whom acquired and sold several businesses in the past and continue to grow their portfolios. Our mission is to be a dependable pair of hands to business owners who are thinking of selling their business to us, committed to preserving their legacy and ensuring continued success of their enterprise after their exit.
