I am a Cloud Architect with a strong focus on simple, clean solutions. I am a strong believer that simplicity scales. I utilize an evolutionary architecture strategy and process to ensure that solutions are delivered early, incrementally, and predictably. During the iterative delivery process, shortcuts are inevitable, and necessary. I believe all shortcuts should bring the software closer to its end goal, while allowing gaps to be backfilled at a later date when more specific functionality is required. Shortcuts should always be defendable and serve a specific purpose. I chose to specialize in cloud solutions due to the ease of spinning up infrastructure, and the ability to implement complex architectures in a much simpler manner. Fully cloud based solutions remove the effort of fighting against slow moving infrastructure, freeing up a large percentage of developers’ time to focus on building better solutions.
