In my role, I have taken the lead in driving the company's strategic direction while concurrently promoting research and development across five key business areas. Through my efforts, Sigrid has successfully raised €17.5M from private investors and secured support from the Swedish state venture capital fund, Almi Invest. These funds have been instrumental in advancing our SiPore® platform through critical clinical and regulatory milestones.

By steering the company's operations, I have effectively positioned Sigrid as a pioneering force at the intersection of technology and healthcare. Our mission to combat chronic lifestyle diseases is driven by a strong commitment to innovation and a passion for improving global health outcomes.

As a board member of Berzelii Center EXSELENT, I contributed to the oversight and strategic direction of this groundbreaking ten-year program. Supported by the Swedish Governmental Agency for Innovation Systems (VINNOVA) and the Swedish Research Council (VR), Berzelii Center EXSELENT focused on advancing the field of nanoporous materials for controlled sorption and catalysis.

The acronym EXSELENT stood for "EXtremely SELective and ENanTio-selective," reflecting our commitment to developing highly selective and enantioselective materials with exceptional properties. Our goal was to push the boundaries of sorption and catalysis, enabling new breakthroughs in various industries.

As a project manager at The Swedish-American Life Science Summit (SALSS) in 2012, I played a crucial role in organizing and orchestrating the most exclusive Nordic Life Science Conference held in Stockholm.

My primary objective was to stimulate the Life Science sector in Sweden and position Stockholm as a global leader in innovation and research. By curating an exceptional lineup of speakers, facilitating engaging panel discussions, and creating networking opportunities, creating an environment conducive to fostering new investments and collaborations.

Through strategic planning, meticulous execution, and attention to detail, I ensured that SALSS 2012 was a resounding success, leaving a lasting impact on the Life Science community. By bringing together key stakeholders, industry experts, and thought leaders, playing a pivotal role in advancing the growth and reputation of Sweden's Life Science sector.
