Recovery Analyst

● Support area strategy development in conjunction with your Area Manager by identifying
area-specific challenges and proposing solutions, later recording and compiling them into a
predefined Salesforce location.
● Conduct pre-enumeration, and participate in ‘know your patch' activities including area
reconnaissance, identifying and engaging with Non-Private Dwelling (NPD) providers, and
supporting community engagement.
● Respond quickly to queries or issues from your team, to identify and mitigate issues and
risks. Escalate potential difficulties using the right reporting and escalation processes.
● Provide key updates on changes to processes, procedures, initiatives and policies.
● Proactively provide coaching and support to my Census Collectors.
Act as key coordinator of operational activities within my assigned area e.g., COVID-19
response, secure access, working closely with community engagement teams and the
recruitment vendor.
● Roster the field team so resourcing levels are scheduled to provide the highest levels of direct
contact with the respondents.
● Monitor workload allocation completion and review timesheets and mileage claims in
preparation for the Area Manager to approve.
● Communicate daily progress of your team to my Area Manager and contribute and respond to
daily/weekly reporting including Health & Safety (H&S) and expenditure.
● Ensure all decisions follow national standards, policies and procedures and escalate should
deviations be needed.
● Contribute to Regional and Area post-operation reports by capturing the learning from the
field teams, identifying key lessons learnt and proposing potential improvements.
● Decommissioning the collectors by taking part in the debriefing and collecting the Stats NZ
resources and equipments after the data collection.
● Securely storing the data collected by my team during the pre-enumeration and after the
respective area reporting as per the standard policies and procedures.

standardization and assuring structural management (Waterfall Model) framework is followed
across the teams.
● Motivate and evaluate personnel for performance improvement and goal achievement.
● Conduct employee observations, performance and document findings.
