Currently HSA administrators rely on traditional brokerage providers as counter parties to facilitate investment to HSA members. This results in constraints and limitations on investment types, mutual funds only, limited revenue for the HSA administrator, and disparate user interfaces to the account holders. Additionally, HSA administrators lose visibility and control of member investment data and behaviors around HSA investing.

My HSA Rewards

My partners and I created My HSA Rewards as a simple way for individuals with Health Savings Accounts to shop online, earn cash back rewards then easily contribute those rewards into their HSA which helped them to save and pay for their healthcare needs.  We were successful in creating an online community of members who were able to offset their monthly HSA fees, increase their HSA balances and take advantage of the tax laws allowing them to deduct the cash back reward as a contribution to their HSA.

We sold the branding of My HSA Rewards to Retail Benefits, Inc. in July of 2012.
