Senior Sales Account Executive (WUSA/CBS & PREMION)

Major Account Sales Manager
Leads our national and political sales efforts, which includes managing a transactional account executive, account manager and Cox Reps team, that covers the country.

Responsibilities:
•	General supervision of and responsibility for all national (55% station budget), regional and political sales efforts, including one regional account executive and eleven CoxReps offices.
•	Develop and execute strategy to drive revenue on national and regional business. Finished 1Q19 above budget with National representing 61% of broadcast billing.  April 2019 currently at 105% of budget.
•	Promote and sell all station assets including broadcast (sports/specials), and OTT (Premion).
•	Experience selling high profile sports/specials: Superbowl (2019-82% $2M National), March Madness (2019-55% $1.2M National), Masters, Grammy Awards, Tony Awards, ACM Awards, NFL and post season NFL 
•	Grow and defend share position on all business. 1Q19 audit – National finished at +7.5 over last year share and +2 over the market. 
•	Managed team of 16 outer office reps and 5 internal personnel.
•	Steward business while applying appropriate rate discipline.
•	Develop incremental opportunities with existing and new clients: Sponsorships, Paid Segments, Integrations.
•	Engineer and maintain genuine relationships with key account and agency personnel.
•	Accurately identify, monitor and forecast sales and marketing trends for key business segments.
•	Complete appropriate business activity reports and forecasts as required.
•	Deliver timely coaching and relevant feedback to sales team.
•	Travel to CoxReps offices for sales calls on quarterly basis.

National/Political  (Major Accounts) Sales Manager
