Working in different marketing roles at Bentley Systems was characterized by a few overarching themes: the drive to create the best marketing organization with a talented, global team to help grow Bentley Systems’ bottom line by generating qualified leads, building relationships with our users and colleagues – and using technology and optimized processes to do so effectively. 

Led effective, data & client driven global product marketing campaigns for Bentley flagship product MicroStation, covering breadth  & depth of marketing globally, with a multi-disciplinary team. 

Built my PMM role across:

Developed assets to articulate value propositions that address engineering users’ needs.

Created intelligent content & sales enablement tools aligning to the buyer’s journey.

Gathered, analyzed & utilized market data to drive revenue with engineering buyers.

Senior Product Marketing Manager

Hands-on oversight of major impactful global campaign launches designing, implementing, integrating & optimising martech systems and processes.

Led implementation & team training of new systems implementation &  integration (SAP CRM, Adobe, Omniture, ProjectWise).

Developed all Marketing system training for global marketing team members, including an easy to access and understand onboarding training for new hires.

Designed & built a Marketing Learning Portal for 150 global marketing colleagues.

Developed & managed Bentley's 1st ever "single source of truth" marketing wiki for standards & templates.

Implemented 1st MCM in ProjectWise leading to a revamp of a far more efficient campaign launch process.

Took over the struggling Bentley CONNECT project (large development of a unified user profile, as part of Bentley's SaaS value proposition).  I brought the project back on track through strict project administration using daily quick fire meetings, weekly IT level sets, improved conversations with team members and managers.  Set up and maintained the structure that allowed the project team to track and follow up action items, as well as spot and tackle at-risk items.  As part of the testing team for Bentley CONNECT I provided help throughout the development and QA process. Bentley CONNECT was successfully launched.

Senior Manager, Marketing Systems

As Bentley's first (Global) Campaign Manager, I established global campaign management programmes & best practices with discipline, organizational talent, powerful project management and persuasiveness at C-suite & team level.

Launched & promoted a web-based seminar platform, resulting in over 7,000 seminar attendees within 6 months.

Managed and mentored a team of Campaign Managers and Specialists to ensure consistently high standards of execution and deliverables, including campaign plans, schedules, and reports.

Maximized global marketing impact for the $21M Structural Engineering product group, which became 2nd largest source of revenue within Bentley in 2010.

Collaborated effectively with key executive stakeholders to develop key messaging and strategic directions, creating 12 monthly global campaigns including budgets, message platforms, lead generation, adverts, product launches and tactic mix.
