- Identified problematic areas that had deviated from quality standards and recommended corrective actions.

• Designed Quality Assurance framework to support orders placed by Material Organisation Visakhapatnam.
• Coordinated internal and external quality management system audits to guarantee product & quality specifications.
• Proposed the concept of knowledge management and sharing of experiences among all CQAE’s which was implemented by DQAE(N) and DQE WP thereby benefiting many nucleus QA units across the country

Fleet Maintenance Unit

- Handled Contract management and repairs of operational defects onboard ships of Eastern Naval Command.
• Designed and In-house fabricated Boat Test Stand for Volvo Penta Engines fitted on most of the boats of ENC Ships.
• Formalised and published, Handbook on boat operation and maintenance for every operator of the boat Engines. This reduced defects and ensured operational availability of boats.
• Submitted a white paper on future of Fleet Maintenance Unit taking on the Short Refits of FAC Class of ships.
• Concluded many Repair Rate Contracts and Annual Maintenance Contracts for faster resolution of defects.
• Ensued effective control on OT of OWC and FMU Teams for attending defects onboard ENC Fleet ships

- Restructuring of Cadre structure for Civilian Employees of Dockyards
• Setting up of Internal IT LAN and introduction of many new facilities for improving time on task and ready availability of data.
• Studied, analysed and designed a proposal for setting up of Afloat Support Team for ships which were gifted to Maldivian Navy by Indian navy.
• Ensured smooth, timely and cost-effective Assisted Maintenance at NORFOLK USA for INS Tarangini, who circumnavigated the globe to reach US for participating in T all ship race, which she won later.

- Used analytical problem-solving, trend analysis and well-planned maintenance to improve machinery performance.
• Defect Identification and Defect Rectification of many scientific equipment, while at sea to ensure successful culmination of many NPOL missions.
• Ensured operational state of ship for 02 years thereby meeting all the commitments of NPOL, DRDO and SBC. Ship was at Sea for Max number of days and got unit citation
• Ensured preparation towards participation of Ship as hospital ship during the deployment for OP Parakram and OP Vijay.
• Coordinated and performed routine maintenance on marine equipment and plant machinery, identifying and resolving faults or
issues.
