The journey of last 15 years in Renishaw has been inspiring due to the fact that i helped develop the teams across business functions and it is so satisfying that they have been delivering to the business and help increase the footprint of Renishaw in Indian sub continent. Demonstrated transformational leadership in new sector business development I came in to my role as Head of Sales and Marketing in 2011 at the time when Renishaw was in transition phase of business growth. My goal was to build empowered teams and take Renishaw on growth trajectory. Over a time, Renishaw added new product solutions, disruptive technologies. This change brought new opportunities, new markets and new aspirations for the remarkable team. It was time for us to move from team size of 40 odd to 70 plus team and challenges it brings with size of the team. Renishaw believes in developing the teams and engaging with professional trainers helped the journey of transforming the performance of teams. Led the team of Regional Managers, technical and operational managers and Marketing head to build strategic partnership, achieve revenue targets and total customer satisfaction. Implementing ease of doing business initiatives. Building networks , leveraging experience to build strategic partnership with industry captains. Leadership with collaborative working approach and continuously striving for effectiveness and efficiencies in business operations. While working for Intelmac group and Mysore Kirloskar (for 13 years), across sectors, geographies and roles, shaped my learning on machine tool technology. Exposure to engage with leading machine tool companies across the world helped shape up my knowledge in this domain which is serving me even today. As they say learning never ends and i continue on this journey. Doing things differently and how can i make difference inspires me and i learned value of having core set of shared beliefs that builds trust and thought leadership.
