Led with a strong rewards proposition and doubled the usage of pay with points. Monetized member base by targeting them for Cards based on customer specific card benefits targeting. Played a key role in the launch of pan bank rewards program

The Arena:
PAYBACK(Part of American Express Group) is India’s largest multi-brand loyalty program. With a single membership, members earn and redeem PAYBACK Points at a wide range of in-store and online partners, including groceries, fuel, entertainment, travel, apparel and more. Members can earn points and use these points for shopping. Other benefits include discounts on purchases through points earned or through coupons and special offers running across 50+ partner brands. 

PAYBACK was acquired by American Express in December 2010

The Goal:
Scale up the business by bringing in international expertise and deliver value to partners

The Game Plan:
Played a key role in due diligence process that led to the company being acquired by Loyalty Partner Group(PAYBACK Germany). Post merger, helped create business strategy and democratized it across the organization with an implementation roadmap.

The Burlington Northern Santa Fe(BNSF Railway) is one of the largest freight railroad networks in North America.  The BNSF Railway is among the top transporters of intermodal freight in North America. It also hauls bulk cargo. Headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, the railroad is a wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway Inc.

The Goal:
Move BNSF rail track maintenance from reactive to proactive for cost and resource optimization.

The Game Plan:
Collaborated with cross-functional team to develop a module of an application that utilizes railway track measurement data to calculate wear and predict track maintenance requirements. The application was installed on board a Geo-Car(rail car used to capture pictures of railway track to assess wear undergone by the track) to predict when a piece of railway track would need maintenance in real-time and mark it with bright paint for the service technicians to do the maintenance later.
