As a Sr. Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Palo Alto Networks, my responsibilities were grounded in the practical application of AI. I served in the Applied AI Research team where I:

1. Developed innovative Machine Learning techniques specifically for time series analysis, enhancing predictive accuracy and enabling more efficient data processing.
2. Engineered a comprehensive framework for time series forecasting, which successfully identified anomalies and performed causality analysis, thus delivering crucial insights for network security.

Through these initiatives, I strengthened the company's ML capabilities, improving the effectiveness of our cybersecurity solutions.

Sr Staff Machine Learning Engineer

Secured a PhD in Machine Learning and Data Science from the University of California, San Diego, with an emphasis on leveraging statistical learning for real-world applications. My findings are published in high-impact forums, including:

1. Conference on Learning Theory (COLT) - spotlighting my deep dive into Statistical Learning.
2. Symposium on Discrete Algorithms (SODA) - demonstrating my proficiency in solving complex Discrete Algorithm problems.

Microsoft Research Algorithms and Theory group

As a Research Intern in the Algorithms and Theory group at Microsoft Research, my primary responsibilities were:

1. Collaborating with three product teams at Microsoft to help resolve their complex technical issues.
2. Identifying, formulating, and resolving intricate technical problems using advanced quantitative tools.
3. Simplifying and effectively communicating complex algorithmic ideas to the product teams.
4. Successfully deploying my innovative algorithms which facilitated an end-to-end research to deployment experience.

My role involved a mix of strong technical acumen, communication skills, and collaboration, which allowed me to bridge the gap between theoretical research and practical application. I was able to learn and adapt quickly, delivering effective solutions to diverse challenges.
