365 days ago today, I quit my corporate job.

Best decision I ever made. But I went through hell first.

Everyone told me to "have a plan." I had $0 in savings and a dream. Here's what actually happened:

The Exit...

I couldn't take it anymore.

The politics. The management I didn't align with. Building someone else's vision while mine died inside me.

I'd been freelancing lead generation on the side, but it wasn't enough to quit on.

I took the leap anyway. I knew I would always regret it if I never went all in and bet on myself and my dreams.

First thought: "What the hell did I just do?"

The Scramble...

Turned my freelancing into a lead generation agency. Hired VAs to support me. Selling appointments one by one. Working 7 days a week and still barely surviving.

Turns out I left the 9-5 to join the 9-9.

One client was a cleaning company. I saw their numbers and my jaw dropped.

Called my high school best friend. Started our own cleaning business back home.

Running both at once. Stressed to the max. But leveling up more than I ever had in life.

I thought things would take off instantly. They didn't.

The Breaking Point...

The cleaning business finally started to make real money. Scaling rapidly. But I hated it. I couldn't see myself doing this long-term. 

Lead gen was burning me out. Manual outreach. Expensive teams. Endless follow ups.

I realized I couldn't do both at once. My focus was split. Things were falling in the cracks.

Business development has always been my passion, but I knew I needed to change my offer if I wanted to see real success.

Then I cracked something. A way to systemize the entire process with AI.

Better results than me doing it manually. And I could sell the system, not just appointments.

The Pivot...

Shut down the cleaning company. Bet everything on my AI system.

It took time. But things finally started gaining traction.

Right Now...

I'm in Valencia, Spain with my family who I hold most dear to my heart. I've helped 20+ b2b service businesses integrate our AI growth infrastructure to book 5-10 qualified sales calls weekly. One just closed a 40k deal. Another had 12 sales calls on their calendar this week.

Real results. Working on my terms. Building something I'm proud of.

The Truth:

You won't have it figured out. You'll be scared. You'll think success is right around the corner.

It's not. It takes time.

One year in, I'm still learning.

I've worked harder than I ever did in corporate.

But I'm free. Actually free.

Free from the politics. Free from misaligned management. Free to build what matters.

Quitting my old job and saying goodbye to a stable paycheck was scary. But it was the best decision I've ever made.
