Program Coordinator

I am a Doctor of Physical therapy with additional specialization Pelvic Health as well as Prenatal/Postpartum care. 75% of physical therapists are NOT treating women as a whole, especially when it comes to prenatal and postpartum cases. My goal is to empower, advocate, and provide resources to allow for women to reach there full potential.

I founded StrongHerPT, mobile concierge cash based PT practice,  as a way to finally give women a sense of agency in there own recovery, without having to schedule childcare or worry about leaving there newborn, etc. 66% of women are working moms, and many in high level positions where they put themselves last.  On top of that,  there is a lack of care for prenatal and postpartum women in the US healthcare system--infrequent doctors visits, unanswered questions, and lack of clear exercise guidelines. 

With 1:1 uninterrrupted care, my goal is to guide clients to recovery in order to either maintain their active lifestyle or recover from child delivery safely and effectively.

If we send Post-Op ACL to physical therapy then why are we not sending Post-Delivery patients to physical therapy?
