My responsibility consists of running  ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages), which focuses on English reading, writing, speaking and listening, also I run Local Living, Local Life, which focuses on local issues, British values and gaining successful employment and finally personal development to support their ongoing success.

my responsibilities consisted of running ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages), which focused on English reading, writing, speaking and listening, also I run Local Living, Local Life, which focused on local issues, British values and gaining successful employment and finally personal development to support their ongoing success.  My responsibility consisted of Recruiting  new clients, tutors and interpreters, Writing ,timesheet  –  scheme of work, lesson plans, Registers ,power points ,resources and keeping a  record of learning progress, profiles and destinations and Providing  reports and information for funding bodies it also required that some clients would need additional support so I would  sign-post them to  other organisations.

Education Coordinator

Afghan British Association 

Providing advice, support, education and information to members. Signposting new arrivals (asylum seekers) to appropriate external support agencies and preparing funding bids in order to sustain the organisation.

Chairperson

Delivery  Project manager, and a teacher with 20 New years of experience working with a variety of different refugee community organisations in the North East. I have experience working with refugees and Asylum seekers in two registered Charity and community organisations which I set up in Sunderland. I am a fluent speaker of three different languages. I have been awarded for the best tutor of the year, also the Sunderland BME Network "One Voice" awards 2017. Based on Successful delivery of the project with the AMIF program I have had few media interviews with BBC, ITV and ITVLookNorth.  I  worked for BIC from 2018-2025 as project manager . I was also a  TV journalist, magazine editor and advocate for women’s rights before I had to flee war-torn Afghanistan in 2002
